Lifeguards

The Australian Lifeguard Service (South Australia) is built on the resources of its people, both full-time and casual staff who work hand-in-hand with the extensive voluntary network that has effectively patrolled South Australia's beaches since the early 1930.

The ALS (South Australia) contracts Lifeguard Services to the City of Holdfast Bay with the primary service provided at Glenelg beach with mobile and outpost services provided through to Seacliff from December through to the end of March.

Additionally Lifeguard Services are provided for shorter periods to Councils and other groups for specific purposes.
